Biography

Around ten years ago, I began my journey into art when I moved from Brazil to Miami, a city known for its lively art scene. This move was a turning point for me, exposing me to a wealth of inspiration and a community that celebrated creativity. But even before Miami, my passion for art was deeply rooted in personal experiences that shaped both who I am and how I create.

My family played a crucial role in nurturing my creativity. They encouraged me to explore my artistic interests from a young age. My parents, especially, always supported my curiosity and provided me with opportunities to experience the world of art in luxurious settings. Childhood memories, like traveling around the world to exotic places where fine art adorned the walls, influenced how I saw art—something luxurious and elegant that set the mood, not just something to look at. These experiences taught me to appreciate art not only for its beauty but also for the emotions and stories it can evoke.

Old masterpieces by artists like Leonardo da Vinci and Michelangelo also left a lasting impact on me. Studying their work taught me important lessons in artistry and craftsmanship. It inspired me to strive for excellence in my own artistic pursuits and explore different styles and mediums.

In addition to classical art, I find inspiration in the simple and honest creativity of children's drawings. Their uninhibited approach reminds me of the joy and freedom art can bring. This influence encourages me to keep experimenting and pushing the boundaries of my creativity.

Over the years, I've embraced a self-taught approach to art. This means I have the freedom to explore different techniques and styles. It allows me to stay true to my own vision and develop a style that blends visual appeal with emotional depth.

One of the goals of my art is to leave a lasting impression on viewers. I want my work to not only look beautiful but also evoke strong emotions and thoughts. I work to have my art appreciated by influential people and institutions, reflecting the connection I see between fine art and luxury.

Art has the remarkable ability to set and change the atmosphere of a place. Whether in a home, a gallery, or a public space, art has the power to transform environments, creating moods and sparking conversations that enrich our experiences.

Looking ahead, I'm thankful for the influences that have shaped my artistic journey. I'm excited to continue growing and evolving as an artist. Each piece I create is a blend of personal experiences, admiration for art history, and the loving support of my family. These influences have shaped my unique style and continue to inspire me to create art that resonates with others. I hope to leave a lasting impact through my art by remaining committed to honoring these influences while forging a path that is uniquely my own.
